The overall aims of this exclusive course are as follows:
- To explain which legislation applies to the operation of your school transport fleet and how you can comply with it.
- To raise and increase awareness of your school’s overall responsibilities when running your fleet to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
- To assist the school in ensuring your vehicles and all staff who drive them are compliant so that you promote road safety, reduce risk and maintain your reputation.
- This course is relevant whether you have a PSV Operator Licence or Section 19 Permit
Delegates will have the chance to ask any questions about your transport operations and will also receive a set of useful documents and links to complement the course content. After attending the course, delegates will receive a course attendance certificate which can be sent to the Traffic Commissioner as evidence that they fully understand their obligations for the operation of school transport vehicles.
